Christine is currently the Senior Vice President, Strategy and Fleet and a member of the Executive Board of Finnair Oyj, the flag carrier of Finland. Christine has played a key role in the renewal of the Company’s strategy, fleet optimization, and capital structure. She leads teams responsible for the implementation of Finnair’s strategy as well as for the management of Finnair’s aircraft assets. Prior to her current role, Christine was Finnair’s Group Treasurer and served in a variety of roles in both the finance and strategy functions.
Prior to joining Finnair in 2012, Christine worked in investment banking in London and New York, advising airlines, aircraft lessors, shipping companies, logistics providers and industry investors on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions.
Christine is based in Helsinki and has an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
