As Head of Vendor Management Maintenance, María Jesús Ymbernón leads the partnership with MRO, engines and interiors suppliers. Her main goal is to ensure that any service is provided in accordance with contractual terms as well as ensuring that contractual SLAs meet the operational requirements. An important part of her role is the cost optimization and efficiency, by using different levers in the short and long-term. María Jesús worked previously over 7 years in Air Europa in different positions within Maintenance Department. She joined Vueling in 2018, first as Aircraft Condition Manager, leading the retrofit program of the company fleet, and in 2019 took over current position.
