Alevtina Fursayeva is CEO of MAUtechnic, the subsidiary MRO of Ukraine International Airlines (UIA), the largest Ukrainian airline operator based in Kyiv, Ukraine. She received her Master of Science degree in Physics from Kyiv National University and her MBA from International Management Institute (Kiev-Lausanne) in 1999. Alevtina was previously involved in various projects and held top management positions at Ukraine International Airlines in areas of Strategic & Business Planning, Aviation Insurance and HR. In 2015 she was proposed by UIA to lead the project of MRO subsidiary development. After the successful completion of the first stage of this project Alevtina was appointed as a CEO of newly created MRO MAUtechnic.
MAUtechnic is certified with USAA Part-145 and Part-147, and in process of getting EASA Part-145 certification, providing full scope of services since November 2018. MAUtechnic capability list presently includes Base, Line and Component maintenance mainly for B737, ERJ-190, B767 and B777 types, with plans of expansion for B737MAX and A319/320/321 in 2019. The main base of MAUtechnic is in Kyiv Boryspil Airport (KBP), with seven line stations in other airports of Ukraine.
Main advantages of MAUtechnic are: attractive pricing combined with high quality, highly experienced staff, wide capability list, and good geographic location for most of European and Eastern operators. Ukraine International Airlines with its fleet of 50 aircraft remain as a main customer for MAUtechnic for the start-up period, however new MRO is actively expanding its 3rd party business and look for new customer and partnership opportunities.
